This is a nice 68 Coupe. Originally sent to the Oklahoma DSO, this
car spent the majority of its life in California and really shows it. The
structure of the car is very solid, and is almost all original, including
the original battery apron!
This car has its original 289 2-v engine and its original C-4 Automatic
transmission. The engine has new gaskets as part of the detailing but
otherwise has not been rebuilt. The transmission has been rebuilt with
approximately 15 miles on the rebuild.
Originally a Highland Green exterior, it is currently painted in Candy
Apple Red. The paint is in marginally acceptable condition for a daily
driver. It really needs repainted. However, due to how nice this
car is, I have been hesitant to paint it since the new owner may want to
restore it to its original color, or the new owner may want to paint it Red
again, or any other color.
Interior is standard black and has been restored to like new condition.
Interior has an aftermarket Mustang radio with dual dash sterio speakers.
Factory power steering is installed.
The car has 4 wheel drum brakes which have been recently rebuilt by
previous owner.
The car was originally single exhaust, but has a dual exhaust system
installed at this time.
Please read through the links to the left for the full story on this cars
recent history, the damage, and the repairs that were completed it on it to
bring it back to a drivable condition.
Car has a current VA state inspection and is road worthy in its current
condition.
